Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed is out now, and one of its new features is the Enemypaedia. Combat is still an important part of the DLC, and there are several enemies that you encounter. The Enemypaedia is a great way to keep track of your enemies and earn Affinity Points to strengthen your party. Making progress in the Enemypaedia is straightforward, but it is easy to forget if you rushed past the tutorial. Keeping track of the progress you make is essential to avoid wasting time. Here’s how the Enemypaedia works and how to use it to your advantage.

The Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed Enemypaedia keeps track of all enemies you encounter. Enemies are sorted into their location by region, allowing you to check where you can find them quickly. Drop information and rarity are also shown, allowing you to see if you achieved a rare drop from your battles. Each enemy in the Enemypaedia has a number underneath their entry. This represents the number of enemies you must defeat before you get Affinity Points for that entry. Each enemy has different requirements, but all you must do is encounter them in the wild and lock onto them. This registers their name, and it’s perfect for powerful enemies you can’t defeat right away.

To avoid repeating your progress, you can always check the symbol above an enemy in the wild. If the symbol doesn’t show, it’s an enemy you haven’t fought before and can add to the Enemypaedia. A yellow symbol indicates that you have fought the enemy but haven’t fought enough to complete their entry. When you see a green or teal symbol, that’s a sign that you already completed the Enemypaedia entry, and you don’t need to fight them again to complete it.

If an enemy’s name appears in yellow, that means it’s very powerful and will result in a tough battle. Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed has no shortage of strong enemies, and the Enemypaedia lets you record them to remember where they are. You can always come back and fight them when you have stronger characters and have properly allocated the Affinity Points.

Just because you have completed an enemy’s entry in the Enemypaedia doesn’t mean you shouldn’t fight them ever again. You may need certain rarities of items or want to challenge yourself against tougher enemies. The Enemypaedia just keeps track of your Affinity Point progress, and you can always train against enemies you have fought before.

Now that the Future Redeemed DLC is out, there’s no better time to get started on filling out your Enemypaedia. If you haven’t played Xenoblade Chronicles 3, now is a great time to get started and dive into a fantastic adventure. The game has recently been updated with a patch, and it’s one of the best versions of the game you can find right now.
