Activating all of the Skyview Towers in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is great for your exploration. Not only can you fast-travel to these places all over the map, but they can launch you into the sky. For the easiest access to sky islands, you need these working. When you get close to the Gerudo Desert, you will notice the tower here is not operational. You need to help the mechanic up to fix it. Here is how to activate the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Before we go any further with activating the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom, keep in mind the heat in this area. If you do not have any heat-resistant food or clothes, you will slowly take damage here in the sun. You can sit in the shade or do this at night time to avoid taking the damage. Here’s what you need to do next:

  1. Locate the worker at the bottom of the nearby elevator
  2. Grab three of the iron boxes near the tower and attach them to one another vertically
  3. Grab the top box, carry it to the elevator, and attach it to the hanging counterweight
  4. The boxes will pull this side down while bringing up the worker
  5. When the worker reaches the top, he will fix the tower, and you can now activate it

Unlike other Tears of the Kingdom areas, the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower is not that complicated. Others will have you putting together contraptions to block rain or send you on a search with only a few hints. The biggest contention in this area is the weather, as noted above. Given that you likely have reached this area before finding Gerudo Town, you might not have the necessary protection. Get through this, and you can use the Skyview Tower to launch into the sky and reach many points in the area.
