League of Legends‘ recent mini-game features breathless and exciting encounters with many champions. It tells the tale of Lux, the shining light of Runeterra, who is determined and courageous enough to stand up to Samira. However, this little light is now more powerful and can K.O you with a single ultimate. Let’s see how to beat Samira vs. Expert Lux in League of Legends: Tournament of Souls.

Lux is the enemy you will encounter after Gwen in Expert Mode. You should know that Lux will give you a harder time than Gwen. However, it is very easy to beat Lux once you understand the best strategy to follow. The only annoying part about Lux is that you don’t know when she will cast her ability. Therefore, you should always be on the alert and use your kit to the fullest in order to take Lux down. So, let’s see what you need to do to beat expert Lux in League of Legends: Tournament of Souls:

The best Samira kit against Lux is: Q1 | W2 | E2 | R1

  • Lux occasionally casts a shield on herself, keeping you from dealing damage to her actual HP bar. This will be no use if you hit Lux while the shield is active. You need to either wait for the shield to disappear or break the shield. Waiting for the shield to disappear will give Lux a huge advantage. Luckily, your kit has all the tools to stand against Lux. When she casts her shield, simply use your E skill to break it.
  • Your source of damage will be your Q skill. Spam your Q skill as much as possible and reduce Lux’s HP. However, if Lux hasn’t used an ability for a few normal attacks, that means she will shield herself. In this case, be careful that your Q skill does not collide with Lux’s shield. Once she casts her ability, break it and instantly keep harassing with Q. You can detonate your bomb instantly by using the E + Q combo.
  • Lux’s Ultimate is a one-hit K.O in Expert Mode. Since its timing is never clear, Lux can suddenly flood you with a beam of light. You need to use your W skill to counter her Ultimate. That means you’ll need to keep your W skill for her ultimate every time and don’t waste it. Moreover, try not to coincide your skill-casting animations with Lux’s Ultimate, especially your R skill.
