After completing the first phase of Regional Phenomena, it’s time to grab A Mystery in the Depths in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. A Mystery in the Depths is the quest after finishing Camera Work in the Depths. However, you can only obtain the new quest to work on once you’ve cleared one of the regions specified in the Regional Phenomena quest. During A Mystery in the Depths, you can unlock a new ability, Autobuild. Keep reading to learn how to complete A Mystery in the Depths in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

If you remember anything from Camera Work in the Depths, you must return to the Depths once again. Only this time, you must make your way to the temple. To begin with, you need to go to Lookout Landing and speak to Josha. Josha will send you into the Depths through a hole that mysteriously appeared in the ground after the Upheaval.

After you’ve jumped into the hold leading to the Depths, use your Paraglider to safely land without taking any fall damage. Once you’re inside, use any Brightbloom Seeds you may have to make sure you can see where you are going. This can be done easily by holding down R while pressing the up button on the D-Pad to scroll through the available items to throw.

Inside the Depths, it’s best to avoid combat for the most part. Though it’s important to fully complete A Mystery in the Depths in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, it can be dangerous. Any time an enemy damages you, it permanently takes a heart from you that can’t be recovered easily. Be prepared for a long trip with loads of Brightbloom Seeds in tow, and avoid the Gloom at all costs. You can identify Gloom as the sticky-looking black and red portions of the ground that look like something has been spilled on them.

Once ready to set off, head to the coordinates of (-0810, -1929, -0520). Here, you will complete A Mystery in the Depths in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, and unlock Autobuild. However, to do that, you must defeat Master Kahga.

This is everything you need to know to complete A Mystery in the Depths in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. You can find the game on Nintendo Switch in digital form or as a physical copy in stores near you. Be safe and have fun!

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
