Trying to complete the “Abandoned Operator” DMZ Mission in Warzone 2.0, but you cannot find the Shopkeeper? Or maybe you need help locating the items on the Shopkeeper’s list? This Redacted Tier 4 DMZ Mission is quite hard to clear. Considering that, first, getting in and out of Koschei Complex isn’t easy. And then, you have to locate and collect several items to finish the Mission. Whatever your problem is, this COD: Warzone 2.0 guide will help you complete the “Abandoned Operator” DMZ Mission and find the Shopkeeper.
COD Warzone 2.0 Redacted DMZ Mission: How To Complete Abandoned Operator
Objective #1: Locate the Shopkeeper and Read His List of Items
First, you will need to find the Shopkeeper for this DMZ Mission; you have to get inside the Koschei Complex. As you remember from our guide on the Bedrock DMZ Mission, there are at least three different entry points. The first entrance can be found by going through the Rohan Oil entrance using the parking lot. Then the second one is in Al-Mazrah, underneath the Taraq Village bridge, to be precise. Then the third one is in the Al-Mazrah City parking lot.
Pick whichever entrance you want; it won’t matter much to complete this Warzone 2.0 “Abandoned Operator” DMZ Mission. Once inside, interact with the Bunker door, and you should enter the Koschei Complex after the timer ends. At this point, you’ll want to head to the Chemical Treatment Plant, the huge space in the middle of the Complex.
After getting through the Plant blast door, you must go to the Admin Factory Wing. You can arrive there by going to the west side of the Chemical Treatment Plant. If you found a Complex map in a blast door, the Factory might look like the north of your location. But it is actually to the west of the Plant.
To get there, you will need the Admin Key, though. The Key can appear in particular spots within the Plant, like inside the small ventilation shafts/tunnels, or be obtained by defeating enemy bots. Unfortunately, the Admin Key will only spawn twice after someone gets inside the Complex. If you can’t find one, there’s a huge chance that other teams have already grabbed them.
If you’re one of the lucky teams, then it’s time to bring the Key to the Admin Factory Wing. Open the blast door carefully because a Sentry Gun is waiting to spray hot leads once the door is opened. Then keep following the corridor until you get to a huge office room. Head to your right and go past a grey door with a red arrow and “Shop” text beside it. You should arrive at the Shopkeeper’s location.
Abandoned Operator Objective #2: Trade the Shopkeeper 2 Items
Now that you’ve gotten inside the Shopkeeper’s room, it’s time to read his item list. You should find pieces of paper around the room. Those are the list that the Shopkeeper will ask you to find to activate his DMZ Secure Buy Station. According to the Warzone community so far, there are at least four variations of the Shopkeeper’s list. Below are the known items from the list so far and their spawn locations around the Koschei Complex:

Aside from the items from Shopkeeper’s list, you’ll want to grab a Jumper Cable and Car Battery. These can be found at External Ops and will be useful for powering up Alpha Cluster’s blast door. As a side note, the Information Extraction room can be easily reached by going through the Al-Mazrah City parking lot. If you’re unsure where you are, look at the top of your screen. The game should tell you your current location.
Once you have all the items on the list, go back to the Shopkeeper in the Admin Factory Wing. Dead drop all the necessary items at the shop’s slot, and the Shopkeeper’s Secure Buy Station is now active. In case you need more help, you can watch GuidingLight’s video walkthrough below.
Abandoned Operator Objective #2: Purchase 1 Item From the Shopkeeper’s Secure Buy Station
With the Secure Buy Station accessible, all you need to do to complete the Mission is just to follow the objectives. Trade two items and purchase an item to complete the COD Warzone 2.0 “Abandoned Operator” DMZ Faction Mission. Keep in mind that this Secure Buy Station also offers exclusive Emblems and Calling Cards.
