The Chemist’s Sources DMZ mission is a Tier-4 story objective of the White Lotus faction. With this assignment, you’re going to fight the Chemist in Al-Mazrah, and then seek an item called the Vondel Gas Sample. The mission is simple overall, but you need to know where to find the intel and quest items you’re looking for. Seems like the Chemist has got some information on the latest events in Vondel, and White Lotus wants you to uncover it.

What Are The Objectives of Chemist’s Sources DMZ Mission?

  • Find and take the Chemist’s intel.
  • Follow the intel to find a sample of Russian gas in Vondel.

For this mission, you need to deploy in Al-Mazrah first. One of the first commanders introduced in the DMZ mode was the Chemist. And now you need to find him and take him down one more time. This commander usually has a Golden Skull with him, which is good to extract if you want to unlock your Insured Weapon Slots. But this time, we kill him to grab some info.

To find the Chemist in DMZ, look for a yellow circle on the Al-Mazrah map. This is where the radiation zone is located, and the Chemist is inside it. You’ll need a radiation blocker or a gas mask to proceed through this area. But once inside, you’ll find the Chemist very easily.

Take him down, grab his sweet loot, and then exfil with the Gas Sample Intel documents he drops. This will checkmark the first objective of the Chemist’s Sources DMZ mission.

Now for the second objective, you must deploy in Vondel. Here you’ll need to head towards the location above, which is on the southwest of the map. This area is actually a maze where you can spot an item called the Vondel Gas Sample. As soon as you pick this item, the Chemist’s Sources DMZ mission will be complete, and you can get back to the business of killing other enemy operators.

Remember that your progress won’t get reset if you get eliminated during the Chemist’s Sources DMZ mission. You should also note that the Vondel Gas Sample item’s location is random inside the maze. If you got teammates by your side in this mission, you would be able to find this item much faster.
