The Konni Secrets DMZ mission is a Tier 2 story assignment of Shadow Company. In this mission, we’re going to spend some time with the Konni Bombmaker in Ashika Island and grab some intel off of Konni reinforcements for the Shadows in DMZ. The objectives of this mission might be a little hard to unravel. And that’s why in this guide, we’re going to give you every detail you need in order to complete this Tier 2 mission.
What Are the Objectives of the Konni Secrets DMZ Mission?
- Kill The Bombmaker on Ashika Island and extract the Missile Intel item.
- Send a fake signal in Al Mazrah.
- Kill the Konni reinforcements and extract the Assault Plan item.
Before diving into the map, you should know that this mission is in two parts. Part one is on Ashika Island, and part two is over on the Al Mazrah map. Now, you can basically do the second part as the first, but it’s not a recommended idea. If you finish the second part before checking the first part, your mission might get bugged. Now, with that in mind, let’s begin.
Where to Find the Konni Bombmaker in DMZ
So the first part is asking us to find and take down the Konni Bombmaker, in order to find an item called the “Missile Intel”. The Bombmaker is an enemy commander in Ashika Island, and we met him months ago in Season 2 for the first time. However, this commander is not a Shadow Company soldier anymore, and he serves the Konni Group. But the location of where you can find him is intact.
Before heading over to Ashika Island, remember to equip a Tsuki Castle key if you have one. If not, bring a DDOS field upgrade to take down the Wheelson and infiltrate the castle with grenades and C4 charges. Now, once you’re ready, get to the top floor of the Tsuki Castle, and you’ll find the Bombmaker boss. He’s obvious with his green laser, and you can easily kill him with a few rounds of a shotgun.
After you kill the Konni Bombmaker in DMZ, he drops an item called the Missile Intel. Pack the item and exfil with it to complete the first part of the Konni Secrets DMZ mission.
Where To Send False Signal For Konni Reinforcements in DMZ
You can send false signals for Konni reinforcements near the Zaya Observatory in Al Mazrah. If you go to the location shown in the image above, you’ll find a secret bunker. This area was used for another mission in previous DMZ Seasons as well. Now, once you get there, stand in front of the blocked bunker to find an interaction point. Next, you can just press the X/Square button and see a red flare going up to the sky.
This will mark the location for the Konni forces to arrive in Al Mazrah, and you have to kill them all to proceed in the Konni Secrets DMZ mission. They arrive with a helicopter, and you can kill them with two Frag Grenades or some Thermites fast. After that, they searched the bodies of the dead Konni soldiers to find an item called the “Assault Plans.” They’ll drop more than one of these items, but only two of it is enough to finish the Konni Secrets DMZ mission.

Remember, you don’t need to put any of these items in a dead drop to complete this mission. You also don’t need to have the Missile Intel with you when doing the second part. In fact, you can just throw both of the notes away after your mission is complete! But remember to do the Konni Secrets DMZ mission in order of two parts. Currently, the game has a bug with this assignment. And you might get stuck in it like the Disarming Presence mission in the previous Season.
Completing the Konni Secrets DMZ mission will reward you with a massive 15K worth of XP, and the Brass Knuckles weapon charm. This is the last reward you’ll get from the main Shadow Company missions in DMZ, until the release of Season 5 Reloaded update next month.
