Here we’ll show you how to complete Legend of the Great Sky Island in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. This is an interesting and unusual quest that you might not have guessed existed because the location where you need to complete the task is Great Sky Island. This is where you learned your first skills at the beginning of the game. The quest is quite interesting and won’t take you much time if you are skilled at using a paraglider. Follow the instructions below to understand how to do it and finish the task.

We have to inform you that this quest will be impossible to complete without Zora armor, so please find this armor before you start. First of all, you need to get a mission before you can complete it. To do this, move to the island, which is located at these coordinates: 0453, -0805, 1540. After you get there, you will realize that everything is not so simple, because the island is in the sky. You can use several methods to get to the top:

  • Use your existing Zonai devices.
  • Use your Ascend skill.
  • Use your Zora armor to reach the top using one of the waterfalls.

Finally, when you get to the island, you’ll need to talk to Steward Construct, who can be found at these coordinates: 0453, -0803, 1540. He will tell you the story of how Great Sky Island appeared in the sky and then give you the quest youโ€™ve been looking for. The essence of the Legend of the Great Sky Island quest is that you need to light up the three bonfires that are on the island in 12 game hours, that is, in 12 minutes in real-time.ย Another prerequisite for the task is that you are not allowed to land on the ground, but must do it all while in the air. All three bonfires will be marked with labels on the mini-map, so you shouldn’t have any problems navigating the area.

First, climb the Temple of Time, as it will give you the right altitude to start your journey across the island. The first bonfire will be to the left of the Temple of Time, not far from it, at the following coordinates: 0377, -1086, 1563. Jump off the building and use the paraglider to fly to one of the waterfalls and use the Zora armor to climb it so that the bonfire is in your field of vision. When you see the target, use your bow and arrows, after setting them on fire with the Fire Fruit. After you hit the first target, it will fire up, and you can move on to the next one.

Great Sky Island: Second Bonfire

Once you’ve lit the first bonfire in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, it’s time to move on to the second. Again, use your paraglider and Zora armor to fly forward and climb the waterfalls as needed. As we mentioned above, you can use the mini-map to navigate the points, but if you have any difficulty with that, here are the coordinates: 0361, -1567, 1553. Once you are there, use the bow to light a bonfire and continue on your way.

Great Sky Island: Third Bonfire

The third bonfire is located to the east of the island, and its main feature is that it is located in a cold area, and it will not be easy to stay there. To avoid the cold, replace one of your clothing items, such as pants or a hat, with an item from the Snowquill set. When you are ready, continue using your paraglider to get to the following coordinates: 0669, -1292, 1549. As with the previous objectives, use the bow to light the bonfire. Congratulations! Now you’ve almost completed the Legend of the Great Sky Island quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

When you have completed all the tasks, you should return to Steward Construct again. Also, don’t forget that you can’t land on the ground, and this restriction applies until the end of the quest, not just when you light up the bonfire. After returning to the temple of time and talking to Steward Construct, the task will be completed, and your reward will be Zonai Fabric, which you can use to upgrade your paraglider. That’s pretty much it. Now you should be able to complete Legend of the Great Sky Island in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom without any problems!

The Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
