It’s time to transfer the secrets of the Shadow Company of Ashika Island by finding a laptop containing confidential information. This straightforward yet challenging White Lotus Faction Mission in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is known as “Shadow Company Intel.” This Tier-1 assignment involves infiltrating a notable landmark on Ashika and searching for a laptop somewhere inside. One main challenge you’ll face is potentially running into other Operators contesting for the same mission objective, so a sense of urgency is critical.
Where Is the Ashika Science Center on Ashika Island?
To find and extract the laptop during DMZ “Shadow Company Intel,” we must head to the Ashika Science Center location. If you’ve cleared missions on Ashika Island in previous seasons, you’ll likely have visited this building multiple times. Conversely, if you’re new, you must head to the Town Center of Ashika, west of Tsuki Castle.
Directly north of the Beach Club is where you’ll find the Ashika Science Center. You’ll know you’re at the right site when you see the building’s sign in English and Japanese. It sits close to the Science Center Dead Drop’s location. If the Science Center is a Stronghold when you spawn onto the island, you will need a Stronghold Keycard to enter. We recommend farming HVT contracts as an easy source of keycards.
How To Get the Shadow Company Laptop in Shadow Company Intel
There are multiple doorways for entering the Ashika Science Center. However, for the sake of simplicity, we will assume you are taking the main entrance at the front.
- From the front door, take the left to ascend the stairway to the second floor.
- Take the first left and then turn right at the corner.
- Down the hallway, you’ll find the locked Research Center Room.
- Examine the desk directly to the left of this locked door to find the Shadow Company Laptop.
Once you’ve obtained the Shadow Company Laptop, the next step of the “Shadow Company Intel” DMZ Mission is to exfile safely. This feat is easier said than done if solo Operators or player squads attempt to counter your escape. If you’re lucky, the map might spawn an exfile point nearby the Ashika Science Center’s location. Otherwise, it’s best you find a vehicle and drive your way to the next-nearest exfile spot.
If you’re in a squad with other members, they do not need to fret about not picking up the Shadow Company Laptop. As long as you or another member has acquired the laptop, then the group will complete “Shadow Company Intel” together.
