  • Completing Sophisticated Sculpting in Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2023
This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

With the new Festival of the Lost event active in Destiny 2, there are certain quests we can complete, like Sophisticated Sculpting. The quest may seem simple, given that it has only two quest steps, but that is far from accurate. Not only will you have to complete Legend Haunted Sectors, but you will have to complete one on each of the four maps they can occur. So, in reality, you’ll probably spend quite a while working on this quest. Let’s take a look at how to complete the Festival of the Lost event quest, Sophisticated Sculpting in Destiny 2.

Sophisticated Sculpting Quest Steps

There are only two quest steps that you must finish in order to complete Sophisticated Sculpting:

  • Complete all higher-difficulty Haunted Sectors, which can be accessed through the Tower map.
    • Higher difficulty Haunted Moon
    • Higher difficulty Haunted Nessus
    • Higher difficulty Haunted EDZ
    • Higher difficulty Haunted Europa
  • Return to Eva in the Tower

To begin with, you should have your Festival of the Lost mask equipped in your helmet slot. Without it, going through all the hard work to collect Candy and Manifested Pages would be for nothing.

Head into one of the Legend Lost Sectors by heading into your Destinations tab and selecting the Tower. Above the Courtyard Landing Zone, you’ll see two event activities. The one on the left takes you into the normal difficulty Haunted Sector Playlist, and the one on the right takes you into the Legend Haunted Sector Playlist. Click on the one to the right to start on a Legend Haunted Sector. Keep in mind that the recommended Light Level for a Legend Haunted Sector is 1830.

Once you get inside, the process is simple. Head inside, defeat the enemies, summon the Headless Ones, kick its ass, and finally, defeat the boss.

Head into each Summoning Circle you see, and stand there until the meter is full and a Headless One spawns. Taking it down won’t be so easy in Legend mode, but it can be done. Once he’s down, another Summoning Circle will pop up nearby. Repeat the process until the timer runs out and the boss spawns.

The boss will take quite a bit of work to take down. However, every time it loses a third of its health, it will become immune, and you must break down its shield. The shield can only be taken down by explosives that are dropped by defeated Headless Ones, who spawn after the boss is already in the Haunted Sector arena. Each defeated Headless One will drop three explosives that you can then throw at the boss to take its shield down.

Keep repeating this process until you’ve completed a Legend Haunted Sector on every map possible, then head back to the Tower and talk to Eva Levante to complete the Sophisticated Sculpting quest in Destiny 2.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things โ€œgeekโ€. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you canโ€™t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
