How to Complete Spark of Rebellion in God of War Ragnarok
As we said, you will meet Durlin the Dwarf for the first time at the beginning of your game. You will encounter this character a second time shortly after Kratos get the Draupnir Spear. Coming back from the forge in Svartalfheim, you should revisit Nidavellir and look through the small door to the left of the Dwarven Tavern. Here you will see Durlin resting, and after talking with him, you will receive the Spark of Rebellion quest.
To complete Spark of Rebellion in God of War Ragnarok, you must go to the east part of the Bay of Bounty, to Dragon Beach, and find the hammer, and here’s how to do it:
- Once you’ve docked at Dragon Beach, turn left and follow the chain to the wooden platform.
- Next, use Draupnir Spear to go up to the next level.
- Move even higher until you reach the latest platform.
- Turn left and go straight until you see a giant statue of a dwarf with a hammer. And to your left, there is a small pedestal with a glyph.

- Interact with it to start the mechanism, after which fire runes appear on the hammer.
- Come closer, after which the dwarf will raise the hammer, and you can go to the chest.
- Opening the chest will give a hammer.
Now you must return to Durlin and hand over the item you found, after which you will complete the Spark of Rebellion.
