The Substantial Findings mission in Warzone 2 is a Tier 3 Black Mous assignment. In this mission, you need to travel between the two maps in DMZ mode, and here’s a quick guide on how to complete it.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has a new DMZ mode, a good way for players to earn free rewards. In this co-op mode, players will face enemy AIs and other online players on their way. But this time, the goal is not always killing!

Doing Objectives is the primary purpose of the DMZ mode, and some factions help you choose missions. Black Mous is one of these groups that gives away a free Kleo skin. But to pass Tier 3 of this faction, you must complete the Substantial Findings mission.

What are the Objectives of the Substantial Findings Mission in Warzone 2 DMZ?

In this mission, you must do a similar objective on two maps. You must find a tracking device on each map and plant them in a designated location.

Al-Mazrah:

  • Take the first tracking devices in Al Sharim.
  • Plant the device on the submarine in Hafid Port.

Ashika Island:

  • Take the second tracking device from Town Center.
  • Plant the tracking device on the submarine in Ashika Island Waterways.

The Substantial Findings Mission in Warzone 2 DMZ has a straight tone. First, you must go to the Al-Mazrah, and head to the Al Sharim Pass.

The area you are about to enter is restricted, which means you are going to face many level 3 AQ soldiers and Juggernauts. If you go to the location above, you’ll find a dumpster with the tracking device.

After packing the device, now is the time to go to the Hafid Port (image above). Here you will find some warehouses, but one has a submarine in it. Go inside, and plant the tracking device on top of it.

This ends the Substantial Findings Mission in Warzone 2 DMZ part one. Now you must go to Ashika Island for doing the rest of this Black Mous assignment.

Ashika Island

In Ahika Island, you must head to the Town Center. Head to the location in the image above, and you will find a dead drop with a tracking device in it.

Pick the tracking device and head to Ashika Island’s underground waterways. If you proceed, you will find a submarine to put the tracker on. After that, exfil and you complete the Substantial Findings mission in Warzone 2 DMZ.

The submarine is in the exact location in the image above, but remember that it is under the ground in the waterways. Also, expect heavy resistance when reaching the area and bring enough armor with you.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 are available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
