Simba wishes to liven up the community spirit of Disney Dreamlight Valley by hosting “The Great Gathering” for several village residents. However, no collective outing is complete without delicious food to eat, so you’ll need to speak with Remy for ideas. The rat chef thinks that a Large Seafood Platter is the perfect choice for lions, and a large cake will be an excellent complementing dessert. Therefore, to progress the “The Great Gathering” quest, you’ll need to get to work gathering the ingredients for these two meals.

Completing The Great Gathering Quest in Dreamlight Valley

To make a Large Seafood Platter for “The Great Gathering,” Dreamlight Valley players will need a Lemon and four types of Seafood. This ingredient type includes Clams, Crabs, Lobsters, Oysters, Scallops, Shrimp, or Squid. Once you have the platter, you’ll need to prepare the baking materials required for a large cake.

While “The Great Gathering” quest does not specify the recipe for the cake, it does mention the ingredients: Eggs, Milk, Fruit, Wheat, and “something sweet.” You can get Eggs and Milk from Remy’s pantry, and Wheat can be purchased from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. The Fruit can be anything you choose, such as a Banana that YouTuber Quick Tips used. “Something sweet” evidently refers to Sugar Cane. Combining these five ingredients at a cooking station should produce the five-star recipe, Aurora’s Cake.

The next step of the quest involves inviting Goofy, Minnie, and Maui to Simba’s gathering. If you need help finding them, open the in-game map, and their icons should appear on the screen. If you attempt to clear this objective late at night, they might be asleep in their homes. Once the three-person group has received their invitations, return to Simba for the “No Worries” Banquet table. You can place this furnishing wherever you wish, but be sure that the background is picturesque if you plan to snap a screenshot.

After watching Simba and Nala share some dialogue, your next objective for “The Great Gathering” in Disney Dreamlight Valley is to feed five animals and grow nine Carrots in the Peaceful Meadow biome. If you’ve fed any critters before, you can review their favorite foods in the Collection menu. Like Wheat, Carrot Seeds can be purchased from Goofy’s Stall in the Meadow. Once these two tasks are complete, speak with Nala and Simba respectively once more to complete the quest.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
