Some shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are undoubtedly tougher than others. Everyone’s mind might look at a problem and struggle to find it. The Jiukoum Shrine, otherwise known as Built For Rails, in the Faron Grasslands, is one of the more common shrines that give people problems. If you try a different method, you can be stuck here for a while. Luckily, the solution isn’t too difficult once you understand what it asks. Here is how to complete the Jiukoum Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Do the Built for Rails Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom

(Updated on October 3, 2024 – updated links and format)

When you walk into the Jiukoum Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, you will see it is called Built For Rails. This is an easy to understand hint that you need to build platforms to get you across the rails. Of course, you can always try to cheese this shrine if you have a shield fused with a minecart, but we will go over the proper easy way to get this done.

The first puzzle is very straightforward. Just connect the two platforms horizontally and ride them down the rails.

To the left of the second set of rails is a chest you can get to by making some slanted platforms. Attach them and give yourself a slope to run up, or just fuse a Bomb Flower to your shield and jump on it to blast yourself up there.

When you are ready to head down, grab the long platform that appears on the rails and set it to the side. Take a couple of the smaller platforms and turn them vertically and place them on the longer piece so they hold everything in place while going down the rail.

The last part of the Jiukoum “Built For Rails” Shrine is the one that gives the most people problems. Luckily, it is not as complicated as it appears. Take the longer platform and lay it down flat. You are going to take three smaller platforms and place them vertically on both ends and one in the middle of the longer slate. After they are distributed in the right spot, put the three fans directly above the vertical platforms.

When ready, place your creation on the rails and activate the fans. You will be pushed along until you reach the break in the rails. At this point, the middle platform will hold you in place as the fans push you to the end of the shrine. That is how to complete the Jiukoum Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
