People will soon realize that Lies of P does not mess around. Whether you come from Elden Ring or Remnant 2, Lies of P ups the difficulty in ways other games have not done before. Combine that with the aggressive enemies with chaotic attack patterns, and you are in for a beating. One of the bosses that’ll surely stop many players from progressing for a while is Fallen Archbishop Andreus. This boss is the first that has two official phases, meaning players are in for a long fight. So, if you’re struggling to beat Fallen Archbishop Andreus in Lies of P, we’ve prepared a guide with the best tips for each phase.

As we mentioned, Fallen Archbishop Andreus in Lies of P is the first boss with two phases, hence the importance of this guide. Those who face this boss will have difficulty if they aren’t used to long fights. Thankfully, there are a few things you can use to make the encounter much easier. Without further ado, let’s break down this fight and see how you can beat this boss in no time.

First Phase

When you enter the arena, you’ll notice the boss is one of the biggest in the game until now. However, this boss is a Carcass type, which means it’s weak to fire. If you’re already at this point in the game, you might have the Fire Dagger already; we will need this. Here’s the strategy we recommend:

  • Identify the enemy’s attacks.
    • It has a long-ranged attack with its tongue that applies the Decay status; dodge or parry this one.
    • While big, the boss attacks fast with its arms; block them if you haven’t unlocked a second linked dodge at the P-Organ.
    • When the boss raises both arms, run away or try to parry it.
  • The easiest way to end the first phase is by using your Flamberge Legion Arm and the Fire Dagger we mentioned.
  • When the boss stops attacking with its arms, get a few hits in with the dagger to build up the fire status.
  • If you have a Spirit, let it aggro the boss and shoot flames with your Legion arm from behind the boss.

Second Phase

Contrary to other bosses, this one has a complete second phase, which means it’s a complete health bar instead of starting at 50% HP. This phase will have new mechanics and make the boss faster. Fallen Archbishop Andreus will pop a human-like body from its back with a glaive. Fighting this side of the boss is dangerous as it hits harder than the front part. Also, it has a long range, and its attacks have more delay, making them harder to parry or block. Here’s the strategy for this fight:

  • As soon as the fight begins, run to the other side of the boss so you face the one you fought during the first phase.
    • Stay away from the boss with the glaive.
  • When the boss stands on its two legs, run away from it and then return for a few hits.
  • When it reaches 60-70% HP, the boss will launch a joint attack.
    • The first is a long-range laser beam-like attack followed by a shockwave by the boss with the glaive.
    • The trick to avoid this attack is to stay on the side of the boss to avoid the laser beam and then run as far as possible from the shockwave, as it can one-hit-kill you.
  • After that, the boss won’t have any other crazy attacks, so you should focus on using your fire weapon and Legion Arm.
  • If your Spirit is still alive, have it aggro the boss and burn it when you can.
