As you begin your journey through the colorful world of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you will have a lot of materials to collect, including bark. With trees surrounding you everywhere, it would at first seem that there’s no difficulty in collecting some Bark. However, due to the beliefs of the Na’vi people or the durability of local wood, you can only get a few pieces of this material from each tree.

As we said, the only way to get Bark in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is to collect it from trees, and it is a little more complicated than it might seem. Of course, you can find many trees in the game, but only a few types can give you Bark. You will have to spend a lot of time searching because even those trees that reward you with this material may offer only 1-2 harvest places. And this can become a problem given the size of native plants. However, regardless of your goal, the principle of discovering and collecting this valuable material is as follows:

  • Open the in-game menu and go to the Hunterโ€™s Guide tab.
  • Go to the Flora tab and find the material you are interested in.
  • Next, you need to Pin this material. Thanks to this, the selected material will be highlighted in yellow when you use Na’vi Vision.
  • Also, from the description of Hunterโ€™s Guide, you can find out about the location of the Bark you are interested in. After this, you can find the desired biome by opening the in-game map and selecting Show Biome in the lower left corner of the screen.

In addition, it is worth noting that Bark harvest points can be relatively high above the ground. So, Ikran can become an indispensable attribute of your search. We also advise you to search at night as this guarantees a high quality of collected material.

All Bark Types

BarkHow To Get
Blood Leaf BarkYou can get this material from Blood Leaf Trees in The Crimson Tree Biome in the Celebration Valley. The red color of these trees is unmistakable, but you will need to use Direhorse to get to them.
Scale BarkYou can get this material from Twisted Scale Trees near Dyer’s Falls in the Rising Spires domain. Examine the twisted trunks of these trees, and you will find the material you need.
Stairfoot BarkTo obtain this material, examine the Stairfoot Trees in the Rising Spires area of Kinglor Forest. You will have to fly around these giant trees from all sides to find points for collecting material.
