The Gemstone Critter List in Hello Kitty Island Adventure is an important part of Keroppi’s quest, but its location isn’t clear. Keroppi is doing his part to restore the island to its former glory. That includes finding all of the Critter Lists. As an island-wide quest, tracking these Lists down can take some time. You will more than likely complete other tasks in an effort to unlock components needed for finding the Lists. We’ll walk you through the process to find the Gemstone Critter List.
In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you won’t learn about the Gemstone Critter List until you interact with Keroppi and gain the “Restore the Nature Preserve” quest. You’ll see five different Critter Lists. The Gemstone Critter List requires you to interact with another character in the game.
The first necessary thing to do is learn to dive, which you can only unlock once you reach Friendship Level 6 with Kuromi. From there, you will unlock her “Deep Diving” quest. Kuromi holds the Crafting Plans for the Snorkel, but she will not give them to you until you help her retrieve an item.
She dropped a locket in the Swamp, and she will give you a temporary Snorkel to help get it back. It’s a good quest to help you understand how to dive in the game. All you have to do is find the locket and return it to Kuromi. She’ll give you the Crafting Plans and you are one step closer to the Gemstone Critter List in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Gemstone Critter List Location
Now that we can access the Gemstone Critter List in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, it’s time to unearth its location. Remember to craft the Snorkel first so you can dive. Take the Crafting Plans to the Crafting Table and gather the following resources:
- x2 Ingot
- x2 Spark
- x10 Rubber
Now that you have your Snorkel, we can now look for the Gemstone Critter List location. Inside the Nature Preserve, jump off the pier and swim to the middle of the Reef critter room. Stick to the left side of the beach. You should see the exclamation point. Try to swim on top of that as much as possible. From there, dive down and find the basket. Complete the quest once you return the Gemstone Critter List to Keroppi.
