Although rare, Orichalcum can be harnessed in several ways in Final Fantasy 16. You will get it by defeating S-Rank Hunt enemies and completing certain quests. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to get Orichalcum in Final Fantasy 16.

Defeat Atlas, the Breaker of Worlds:

  • Atlas is an S-Rank hunt and can be found in a clearing in the east of Cressida, which is east of Martha’s Rest and southeast of Eastpool in the northern part of Rosaria.
  • Recommended level: 40 or above.
  • Use upgraded Eikon abilities and focus on staggering Atlas to quickly deal as much damage as possible.
  • Upon defeating Atlas, you will receive Orichalcum, renown, gil, and Fallen Iron.

Take down Gorgimera, the Tricephalic Terror:

  • Gorgimera is another S-Rank hunt located west of The Velkroy Desert in The Dhalmekian Republic.
  • Find it northwest of The Dalimil Inn and south of The Velkroy Desert Obelisk.
  • Prepare for a level 45 battle, similar to the Atlas fight.
  • Defeating Gorgimera rewards you with Orichalcum, Gil, experience, and renown.

Face Svarog, Ruin Reawakened:

  • Svarog is an S-Rank Notorious Mark found in Mornebrume, southeast Sanbreque.
  • Start from the Caer Norvent Glorieuse Gate Obelisk and head east along the path leading to Mornebrume.
  • Svarog awaits in the clearing at the end of the path.
  • Engage in combat and emerge victorious to obtain Orichalcum.

Challenge the Behemoth King:

  • The Behemoth King is another S-Rank hunt located southwest of the Vidargraes Obelisk in Waloed.
  • This hunt becomes available during the “Back to Their Origin” main story quest.
  • Face the formidable Behemoth King to earn Orichalcum as a reward.

Complete the Under New Management II side quest:

  • Progress through the game until you reach the final portion and start the “Back to Their Origin” main story quest.
  • The side quest becomes available, with Clive assisting Isabelle in Northreach against Akashic.
  • Finish the quest to receive Orichalcum as a reward.

Undertake the Duty Undying II side quest:

  • This quest takes you to Mikkelberg to investigate a curious new religion.
  • Similar to the previous side quest, it becomes available during the “Back to Their Origin” main story quest.
  • Complete the quest to acquire Orichalcum.
