In Kuttenberg City, you can encounter a woman named Betty who wants to open a bathhouse. You can help her establish her business, but it’s clear that her questline doesn’t end after the first mission. After a few days pass, you can accept the Ill Repute quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Henry will need to sour the relationship between Councillor Naaz and a competing bathhouse. To do that, you must gather several items, including something infested with fleas.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Ill Repute Quest Guide
After talking with Betty and gathering more information about the situation, you can immediately head to the competing bathhouse in Kuttenberg. Your goal is to speak with three women who work there. Here are the people you need to find in the Ill Repute quest:
- Meaty Mary
- Katcha
- Lida
To make Meaty Mary talk, you need to pass a Perception or Compassion check. She will tell you that the councilor dislikes Chamomile Brew. If you have one, you can pour it into the wine cask on the upper floor.
The second woman, Katcha, will mention that the bathhouse used to have fleas. Henry thinks it might be possible to find something infested with fleas to make Councillor Naaz leave.
Lastly, you can ask Lida for information. Unlike the others, you need to bribe her with a good dress. Just visit a nearby tailor and purchase a noblewoman’s dress. She’ll then tell you that Councillor Naaz likes to use fragrant oil.
Where To Find Something Infested With Fleas in KCD2
Technically, you only need to do one thing to make Councillor Naaz leave the bathhouse. However, you can do all three to ensure he never comes back. The hardest item to find is something infested with fleas.
Henry knows that the best way to get one is from beggars, but he can’t exactly request it from them. To get it, you need to travel to the east gate. There, you’ll find a camp full of beggars. Head southeast and you’ll find a flea-ridden blanket inside a sack.
Once you have the item, return to the bathhouse and head to the second floor. Enter the door to your right to find a room with some bathtubs. To infest the bathhouse with fleas, you need to interact with several chests and baskets. Since there will be customers during the day, you may want to sneak in at night.
How To Pour Chamomile Into the Wine
After using the flea-ridden blanket, enter the room next to the stairs on the second floor. You’ll need to lockpick the door, so make sure no one is around. Once inside, go into the room to your right. There, you’ll find a barrel of wine. To complete this objective, you’ll need a Chamomile Brew. You can either brew one at an alchemy table or purchase a potion from a shop.
How To Get Fragrant Oil
To complete the last task, head to the third floor and unlock the first door you encounter. Enter another door to your right, and you’ll find a small wooden cabinet. After breaking the lock, you can obtain the foreign fragrant oil. Once you’ve done everything, return to Betty. Besides reporting to her, you can also give her the fragrant oil so they can use it when Councillor Naaz visits.
To complete the quest, you will need to wait several in-game days. In the meantime, you can try to get Councillor Tuchmacher’s vote. This one doesn’t require any sneaking, but you need to win a duel against a fully armed opponent. You also can’t use any armor or sword. I actually equipped a hunting sword for this fight. If you’re struggling to win, you can consume Artemisia and Buck’s Blood potions.
