As you progress through Blasphemous 2, you must find and unlock many abilities to reach every corner of the game world and confront powerful bosses. And while you can get all three starting weapons pretty quickly, you’ll have to put in a lot more effort to get the Air Dash skill. With some resemblance to a Double Jump, this ability allows you to dash through the air, jumping over chasms or enemies. Air Dash is an iconic skill for most platformers, so we are here to help you and tell you how to unlock it in Blasphemous 2.

To unlock the Air Dash skill in Blasphemous 2, travel to a secret room in the Crown of Towers area. You have probably already passed part of this location, but you will not be able to reach the desired room until you fulfill a few prerequisites:

  • First, you must get all three starting weapons: Veredicto, Ruego Al Alba, and Sarmiento & Centella. You will have to use all the abilities of these weapons to reach the needed point on the map.
  • Next, you have to go to the location Beneath Her Sacred Grounds south of the Mother of Mothers and defeat the Afilaor boss to unlock the Double Jump skill.
  • Finally, head to the Chapel of the Five Doves and explore the area until you see a cutscene, after which you can cross over Bifrost-like bridges.

Once you’ve met all the prerequisites, here’s what you need to do to get to the Air Dash skill in Blasphemous 2 (use the map in the image above):

  • Head to the Crown of Towers area and towards the Basilica of Absent Faces until you reach bifrost-like bridges.
  • Cross the bridge and get to another part of the Crown of Towers area.
  • Compare your current location with the map in the image above, and you’ll get to the specific room pretty soon.
  • Approach the statue and interact with the urn, after which you will unlock the Mercy of the Wind, also known as the Air Dash skill.

As we said earlier, Air Dash allows you to dash a decent distance in the air, allowing you to jump over relatively large obstacles. In addition, Air Dash is an additional Double Jump, as you can use these abilities in sequence. However, these skills have a short cooldown, so you won’t be able to use them indefinitely.

Blasphemous 2 is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
