The Faction Showdown event starts on Thursday, August 4, 2023, pitting Task Force 141 against Shadow Company. It ends on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. For the Blood Cell Camo, you have to join the Shadow Company and clear out all of the team’s Challenges during the event period.

- Loading Screen: Get 50 Operator Kills
- Large Decal: Get 15 Operator Kills while Focused on Snipers
- Vehicle Skin: Get 15 Operator Kills from Behind with SMGs
- Charm: Get 10 Operator Kills with Launchers
- Tier Skip: Get 5 Operator Kills with Lethal Equipment
Nevertheless, the Blood Cell is a Universal Camo. That means you can put it on any weapon you like. You should definitely unlock the new guns, like the FR Advancer or Carrack .300, before the event begins. Those weapons are beasts, and you can make them look even cooler with the Blood Cell Camo.
MW2: How to Unlock the Polished Weapon Camo
Aside from the Blood Cell Camo, during the COD: MW2 event, you can also unlock the Polished Camo. By completing all Challenges on the Task Force 141 side, you can acquire this Universal Camo. As a reminder, the Faction Showdown event will conclude on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, 12 days after it begins.
