If you’re aiming to move freely between biomes, you definitely need to know how to craft Balloons. They allow you to craft vehicles like Hot Air Balloons, which will allow you to fly and travel faster in Lego Fortnite world. However, to unlock the blueprint of Balloons, you need to learn how to get Flexwood, Flexwood Rod, and Silk. Apart from that, you will also need to know how to make a Loom in Lego Fortnite.

In Lego Fortnite, there are two different crafting stations you need to obtain Balloons. The first one is the Spinning Wheel and the second one is the Loom. The Spinning Wheel should not be a problem for you as you need to craft it very early in the game, you only need 8 Planks, 5 Wooden Rods, 5 Wood, and 5 Wolf Claws. When you get to the Loom, things get a bit more complicated.

To build the Loom in Lego Fortnite, you need Flexwood, Flexwood Rod, and Sand Claw. To get these materials, you need to go to the Desert biome. Flexwood is obtained from the cacti in the Desert biome, and you can also get Sand Claw from the wolves in the Desert. You can craft the Flexwood Rod from the Lumber Mill like any other Rod. After collecting a total of 9 Flexwood, 8 Flexwood Rods, and 6 Sand Claws, you can craft the Loom.

After you have taken care of the Loom, it is time for Balloons. To unlock the blueprint for the Balloon in Lego Fortnite, you need Vines, which you can get by cutting bushes, and lots of Silk. To do this, cut down all the bushes you see with your Sword or Forest Axe. Then pick up small Granite stones in the forests and caves. Then kill lots of Spiders in caves and forests to get Silk in Lego Fortnite.

There are two final materials you need to make with the Vines and Silks you collect. These are Cord and Silk Thread and you can make them from the Spinning Wheel. After you craft at least 5 Silk Threads, go to Loom and make Silk Fabric. This will unlock the blueprint for the Large Balloon, and Small Balloon. If after doing this you still don’t see the Balloon blueprints in the Toys section of the building menu in Lego Fortnite, craft a Torch.
