The latest season of Diablo 4, Season of Construct, introduces new mechanics and gameplay elements. It’s a season full of traps. Sometimes interesting. Most of the time, tedious. But we’re here to talk about a great way to get more rewards in the season: Pearls of Warding. From gaining Zoltun’s Warding to creating Vault Sigils, Pearls of Warding have a few solid uses in Diablo 4. But first, we have to learn how to get some of these pearls.

In Diablo 4, Pearls of Warding are acquired by two means:

  • Completing Braizers in Arcane Tremors
  • Looting chests after finishing Vaults

For Arcane Tremors, look for these areas on your map. They’re indicated via an Obelisk symbol with small green leaves. You must summon Heralds of Malphas using Braziers. Before you can do that, you must collect x3 Elemental Cores and x50 Shattered Stone. Elemental Cores come from Obelisks, while Shattered Stone comes from destroying Constructs.

Once you summon and defeat the Heralds of Malphas in Diablo 4, they’ll drop some Pearls of Warding. The next way to stock up on the material is by looting chests in Vaults or Nightmare versions.

How To Use Pearls of Warding

You should plan to farm for Pearls of Warding if you ever want to use them in Diablo 4. That’s because you’ll need quite a few for them to be worth it. You can use Pearls of Warding on Zoltun Statues at the beginning of a Vault. Each Diablo 4 pearl you offer provides three stacks of Zoltun’s Warding.

As long as you make it to the Vault with all or some of your stacks, you can open more chests. So, having plenty of Pearls of Warding can help give you a chance to get better rewards. Just note that each trap you fall into will take a stack away. Unfortunately for us, it’s all too easy to get mixed up in these new traps. So, we wish you luck.

Additional Way To Use Pearls of Warding

Although getting Zoltun’s Warding is one of the key things for Pearls of Warding, you can use them in two other ways. For one thing, you can also use Pearls of Warding in the Vault of Loom. You need 10 of them (along with x250 Shattered Stone) to summon Malphas Boss. As for the second thing, you can use Pearls of Warding to make Vault Sigils and unlock Nightmare Vaults.

Of course, Nightmare Vaults are far more difficult. However, the rewards are worth the struggle, especially if you can manage to have Zoltun’s Warding and keep all your stacks as you get through the Vaults.

Diablo 4 is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
