From Ores to Gunpowder, you must harvest, mine, and craft various resources and materials on the Palpagos Island. As you progress into the end game, you will encounter a new material called Polymer. This resource is used to build powerful weapons, such as the Rocket Launcher. That said, understanding how to make Polymer in Palworld is some know-how you’ll need for your Pal-catching adventure.

How To Craft Polymer in Palworld

You can unlock the recipe for Polymer in Palworld at Technology Tree Level 33 with two Technology Points. Unlike regular materials, you can only craft this resource using Production Assembly Line or Production Assembly Line II.

The Production Assembly Line blueprint is available at Technology Tree Level 28 and requires these materials to be built:

  • Wood x50
  • Ingot x100
  • Nail x20
  • Cement x10

Once you have your first Production Assembly Line in Palworld, you can make one Polymer by combining two jars of High Quality Pal Oil. You can get this resource by hunting or capturing various Pals, especially those from the Desert biome. Here are some Pals that drop this material:

  • Dumud
  • Flambelle
  • Mamorest
  • Quivern
  • Relaxaurus
  • Woolipop

For new players, I recommend hunting Dumud. These Pals can be found on the southern side of the Volcano biome, but you can also encounter them in the small Desert biome. Be careful when exploring this zone because you may face Alpha Anubis, which has called this place its home.

  • Double-barreled Shotgun
  • Homing Sphere Launcher
  • Scatter Sphere Launcher
  • Hyper Grappling Gun
  • Decal Gun Set
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Legendary Assault Rifle

  • Legendary Rocket Launcher

Besides crafting guns, you can also use Polymer to make various high-end structures and tools at your Palworld base camp:

Making Polymer as soon as possible should be your priority when you are playing Palworld. Besides using it to craft guns, you also need this item to make Circuit Boards. Like Polymer, you can only make this resource using a Production Assembly Line, and they can be used to make high-end tools, such as Mounted Missile Launcher and Weapon Assembly Line II.
