Approaching the Second Magic Gate in Dreamlight Valley
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Second Magic Gate in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a puzzle that players encounter during the Quest “With Great Power.” This puzzle involves planting the right crops at the base of the three statues standing near the barrier blocking the pathway in the Mystical Cave. If players need a hint on how the puzzle can be solved, they can refer to the stone tablet near the Second Magic Gate’s entryway that reads, “Discover the right crops to grow to continue on below. One is underground, the other gold and brown. What remains is red and round.”

Second Magic Gate Seed Solution in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To remove the Second Magic Gate in Dreamlight Valley, players must plant a Carrot Seed, a Wheat Seed, and a Tomato Seed from left to right in front of the gate’s statues. As the hint mentioned, Carrots grow underground, a stalk of Wheat is golden and brown, and Tomatoes are red and round.

Based on the information provided by the Disney Dreamlight Valley Wiki, here is an index revealing how to get each seed type needed to remove the Second Magic Gate:

Seed Source Location Cost Growth Time
Carrot Seed This Seed can be procured from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. The cost for one bag is 10 Star Coins. Carrot Seeds take 15 minutes to grow.
Tomato Seed This Seed can be procured from Goofy’s Stall in the Dazzle Beach. The cost for one bag is 8 Star Coins. Tomato Seeds take 60 minutes to grow.
Wheat Seed This Seed can be procured from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. The cost for one bag is 1 Star Coins. Wheat Seeds take 1 minute to grow.

Since Tomato Seeds require a growth period of 60 minutes in real-time, players will need to find another activity to do while waiting for the crop to grow at the Second Magic Gate in Dreamlight Valley. For instance, quest participants could go farm resources across the Valley or have a meal in real life. When they return after an hour, the Tomato and two other crops should be fully grown.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
