Quality rest is important for every Trainer, and the Pokemon Go Plus + is a nifty device to help you track your sleep. This small Poke Ball-shaped gadget enables players to check their sleep habits and earn bonus daily rewards in-game. As a result, a win-win activity for both your virtual Trainer and your physical body. However, understanding how to use the new Go Plus + device can be slightly confusing for newcomers. Fortunately, the process for tracking sleep with the Pokemon Go Plus + is quite straightforward.

First, you must ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone device before pairing your Go Plus +. If this function is off, you’ll receive the “Bluetooth is disabled” message in the Accessory Devices menu. Once Bluetooth is on, follow the steps below to utilize Pokemon Go Plus Plus (+) Sleep Mode.

  1. From the Map View, where your Trainer is visible in AR, tap the Main Menu button at the bottom center of the screen. It’s the icon shaped like a Poke Ball.
  2. Select the Settings menu via the cog icon above News on the top right of the screen.
  3. In the third section down, tap “Connected Devices and Services, which is between Uploads and Advanced Settings.
  4. Next, tap the bottom tab: Accessory Devices.
  5. With Bluetooth active, you should be able to access Sleep Data for your Pokemon Go Plus+ by scrolling down.
  6. Interact with the toggle option that sits next to Share Sleep Data with Pokemon GO.

With Sleep Data sharing active, you’ll now be able to choose the time of day when you’ll receive your sleep rewards. This time is also when your recorded in-game sleep schedule resets daily. Keep in mind that you must log into Pokemon Go to claim your sleep rewards, during which your Go Plus + should be connected.

Next, let’s discuss how you can track your sleep using the device itself:

  1. Before going to bed, start your sleep session by holding down the white circular center of the device. You’ll know the Go Plus + is ready when a light blue light flashes, followed by a lullaby.
  2. With the device on a spot where you won’t roll over it, enjoy a good night or day’s sleep, depending on your lifestyle’s snooze schedule.
  3. Once you’re awake, hold the Main Button on the Pokemon GO Plus + again. Multicolored lights should flash, but if a red light flashes, indicating your sleep wasn’t tracked successfully in Pokemon Go Plus Plus (+) Sleep Mode.
  4. Reconnect your Pokemon GO Plus + to Pokemon GO to claim your rewards.

Remember to connect your GO Plus + to the Pokemon Sleep app as well for more gamified benefits and info. Additionally, here’s a video by JT Valor showcasing how the Pokemon GO Plus + via AR gameplay:
