After you’ve obtained the Ultrahand Power in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it’s time to learn how to unlock Fuse. Fuse is the second Power Ability that you unlock within the game just after you visit the Ukouh Shrine within the Great Sky Island. Just like with the first Power you unlock, you will have to visit a Shrine to unlock Fuse and complete The Closed Door Quest. Keep reading to learn how to unlock Fush in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

After you complete the Ukouh Shrine and obtain the Ultrahand Power, the next step in The Closed Door quest is to visit the In-Isa Shrine. Luckily for you, this happens right at the beginning of the game, and the only place you can unlock Fuse is at the In-Isa Shrine.

The In-Isa Shrine can be found in the Southwestern portion of the map. Once you arrive, interact with the Shrine to access the door and head inside. Once you make it in, walk ahead to where you can find Rauru waiting for you with a bit of knowledge and a gift for you.

Rauru will give you the Fuse Power and explain how to use it and what it does. You will learn that Fuse gives you the ability to combine certain weapons and objects together to craft weapons and shields. In one room of the Shrine, you come across a Rusty Claymore and eventually a large Boulder. You can actually fuse the two items together so that you can break through a stone wall that stands in your path.

There are quite a few other things you can craft with the Fuse Power as well. The possibilities are literally endless, making this a new and very exciting mechanic to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Check back to learn how to unlock more abilities and make your way through the several different Shrines found within The Great Sky Island and beyond!

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
