If you thought Honkai Impact 3rd and Honkai: Star Rail would be the only two titles of the Honkai universe, that’s not the case anymore, as a third one has officially joined the fray. While we already knew about it during a teaser we got not long ago, HoYoverse has now given us a bigger glimpse at Honkai: Nexus Anima, its characters, gameplay features, and even announced its first closed beta. So, if you want a new creature-collector with old and new faces from the Honkai universe, you should watch out for this one because it’s already looking bigger than we thought.

Honkai: Nexus Anima Will Host Its First Closed Beta Soon

In case you missed the announcement, HoYoverse premiered a couple of videos for the upcoming Honkai: Nexus Anima and even opened its registrations for the upcoming Nexus Bond Test, which will be a closed beta test with a full data wipe. Still, it is an excellent opportunity for those following HoYoverse games who also want a new creature-collector to try it out and see many of the creatures and gameplay systems that are coming to this new Honkai game.

In-game footage from Honkai: Nexus Anima

Speaking of systems, HoYoverse also showcased some in-game footage from Honkai: Nexus Anima, where we can see some familiar faces, such as Kiana and Blade, but now with their Anima, the creatures we will collect in the game. In terms of gameplay, we were also able to observe different mechanics, such as overworld exploration, gliding, character customization, and strategic combat. It is still uncertain how everything will work, but players will have a chance to try some of these systems by registering for the Nexus Bond Test, which you can do by following this link.

While it was just a small glimpse, people are extremely excited to get another Honkai experience, especially one with such iconic characters. It is still strange to see Blade with an Anima, but we’re glad to see one of the most iconic Stellaron Hunters in a more colorful landscape. And of course, Kiana is there, which is just one of the many cherries on top of this delightful upcoming game. For now, all we can do is wait to get a chance to enter the Nexus Bond Test and hope for more information about this new title, which we’re sure will be as great as many other HoYoverse games.
