Humble is known for doing a lot of different things, but the things it’s best known for are both its incredible bundle deals and the charities that they support throughout. Since 2010, the team have gone about supporting a wide array of charities while ensuring users get games, books, and software at a super cheap price when bundled together. They’re a company I’ve had my eyes on and supported since I got my first PC back in 2015, and I’ve been buying bundles since. That’s why today, I’m happy to share from Humble’s 2021 Social Impact report that the team raised a staggering $13.5 million for 15,000 charities in 2021, along with hitting a hefty $200 million raised since their first bundle in 2010.

Where Did The $13.5 Million Humble Raised Go To?

Humble 2021 Social Impact

These funds have gone towards a number of charities and have provided serious help across the board. More recently, the team has donated serious funds towards COVID-19 relief in less developed areas and has saved tons of lives. To give a few numbers, Humble raised $1.1 million for a number of charities supporting India and Brazil, offered 400 oxygen concentrators for specific Brazilian areas hit hard by the virus, and has provided 50,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses for rural areas. They also helped keep 40 families fed for a month following the most recent earthquake in Haiti.

Alongside crisis and disaster relief, the team put a massive amount of funding into mental health, suicide prevention, and diseases with progress towards various cures for things like breast cancer. To give one staggering example, 1.8 million meals were served to those in need thanks to the funding. This all isn’t even mentioning the thousands of young girls given the opportunity to participate in programming clubs, hundreds of thousands raised for ethnicities, sexual identities, and youth misrepresented in our society and massive efforts to sustain our planet and its ecosystem. Needless to say, the funds raised through the various bundles have gone a long way and will surely continue to in the months and years to come.

Are there any charities you hope to see Humble support past 2021 and into this year? What charities have you supported through Humble’s bundles or through other means? Let me know!
