Invincible Season 2 Part 2 Release Date Announced

That’s the neat part…

Two months after the explosive events of episode four of Invincible’s second season, we finally have a release date for the next batch of episodes. Only, it might be a bit later than you were expecting. Season 2 part 2 is set to be released on March 14, 2024. So, if you were champing at the bit for some more Invincible, you’ll need to wait another two months. Funnily enough, the announcement has arrived on the 21st anniversary of the comic book’s first issue.

The official Invincible Twitter account shared a short clip from the new episodes along with, “In the second half of season 2, I’m sure Mark goes back to college, reads his father’s books, and has nothing eventful happen to him or his family…” Fans of the comics undoubtedly know exactly what this tweet is referring to, as the first four episodes of season two do follow the events of the books. Of course, before Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons) is taken by General Kregg (Clancy Brown), he tells Mark (Steven Yeun) to read his books – Omni-Man’s alter-ego was an author – which is what the tweet mentions.

It might be frustrating for Invincible fans, as the four episodes that make up season 2 part 2, were set to be released in Early 2024. While March is still early, it might be a little later than expected. Although, it’s not like Invincible has necessarily been lacking in content. Characters from Invincible came to Fortnite, Omni-Man is in Mortal Kombat 1, and there’s an Atom Eve visual novel. On top of all that, Prime Video has already renewed the series for a third season. Although, if you’re jonesing for some more Invincible you could always go and read the comics.
