Alison “Blaze” Rogers is Port Charles’ newest music star on General Hospital. Jacqueline Grace Lopez has portrayed the character on the soap opera since November 2022. The past year, the character has been front and center because of her romance with Kristina Corinthos-Davis. But now the couple and the character’s future is up in the air.
According to Soaps.com, spoilers for this week reveal that Blaze receives a tempting offer. Odds are the deal has something to do with her music career, which could take her out of Port Charles.
But would her departure be temporary or permanent.
Blaze Forced to Choose Between Her Career and Kristina on General Hospital
The singer’s career has been in nosedive since the leaked recording of her mother Natalia Ramirez’s homophobic rant against her and Kristina’s relationship. After being dropped by her record label, Blaze and Kristina did damage control with a PR interview.
That seemed to do the trick because her music career is back on track with offers rolling in. While momager Natalia is excited by the prospect , her daughter has doubts.
If the offer involves going on tour, then Blaze won’t want to leave Kristina, especially after her accident. Kristina is going through a difficult time after losing her baby. She needs the support from all her loved ones, including her girlfriend.
But Blaze has been absent during Kristina’s stay in the hospital.
Although she wanted to be there for Kristina, she followed her mother’s advice and gave the family their space. Her absence is bound to create issues in their relationship and the job offer could seal their fate.
General Hospital Fans Want The Character to Leave
Things aren’t looking good for Blaze’s relationship with Kristina or her stay in Port Charles. If this is a storyline to write the character out, most viewers won’t miss her. On a Soap Central forum, fans expressed their desire to see her gone.
I’m sorry but I’m just really not feeling the character of Blaze.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Kristina & Blaze split up if she gets a better offer…hopefully this means both Blaze & Natalia leave town and are never seen or heard from again.
There’s been no reports regarding Lopez’s status with the show. Although it seems unlikely they’d get rid of her character, given their unpredictable writing, anything is possible. For the time being, fans will have to wait and see what becomes of Blaze’s future.
