After a fantastic devstream for Warframe, we saw the reveal of an upcoming cinematic quest called Jade Shadows. It will arrive this Summer for all players and see the return of one of the game’s most infamous characters. Furthermore, we got a glimpse of Protea Prima, more information about Warframe: 1999, and other things. So, if you’re hesitant about returning to this title, now’s the perfect time to gather your space ninjas and join the fight.
Warframe Launches Its Jade Shadows Cinematic Quest This June
The biggest reveal of Warframe‘s latest devstream was, undoubtedly, the Jade Shadows cinematic quest. In June, players can meet the Stalker again and delve into a story full of love, loss, and other mysteries to uncover. Added to this, we have the 57th Warframe joining the frame: Jade. While we don’t have a lot of information about this new Warframe, there are more things coming with the cinematic quest, such as Ascension missions and a new Clan Operation.
Protea Prime Is Coming
Another Prime is joining the fight, and it is Protea. If you’re more eager to try a Prime in the game, you can do so soon enough. While we also got a teaser, we can already expect the high-tech fun we love from Protea, including grenade clusters, plasma discharges, and a bit of healing thrown into the mix.
Warframe: 1999 Is Getting Closer, Too
One big reveal we saw besides the Jade Shadows cinematic quest is new information about Warframe: 1999. While we only learned about the studio’s inspiration behind some of the Protoframes and a Warframe inspired by a 90s motorcycle, players looking to learn more can do so on July 20 during TennoCon’s keynote live stream.
Speaking of TennoCon, remember its 2024 iteration is coming in July. You can expect many new things that promise to take this event to new heights, and even if you can’t attend, the Digital Pack will get some goodies for your Warframes.
Overall, it is a great time to join the game after seeing all these announcements. Also, we know this is just a glimpse of what’s coming, so expect even more things once the Jade Shadows cinematic quest goes live this Summer.
