While Microsoft has been amid Bethesda and Zenimax acquisitions alongside new console releases, many have questioned their commitment to the PC gaming space. Whilst the news of more titles coming to Xbox Game Pass and continuing games with gold, many wonder when the quality updates will extend to their vibrant PC community. As the Xbox experience has been less than stellar for PC users in recent memory, the good news from Game Pass additions has been extending to PC for quite some time. The updates have been sparse for the platform; for now, Xbox is not shying away from their secondary player base, especially when E3 is just around the corner. Industry insider and writer for GamesBeat, Jeff Grubb, discussed incoming news on Thursday the 29th from Microsoft discussing their continued support for the PC platform.

While Grubb discusses some of the possibilities, there are quite a few reasonable predictions. With the next Halo Infinite update scheduled for the same day, it’s not unlikely that Microsoft would want to do a larger update with maybe some smaller news drops. While Grubb does explain that a blog post is most likely expected, that doesn’t mean that there could be some announcement made to reassure their player base. Whether that means Xbox Cloud Gaming is finally coming out of PC beta or the rumored Game Pass on Steam will finally be shown. With Valve growing their library of other subscription services, hosting Game Pass for PC would bring many new subscribers. Despite this, any new update on PC from Xbox will bring new titles to their service and hopefully the most anticipated titles PC users would love to access. We can expect this update to come on April 29th, and be sure to check back for the latest announcements and news on Xbox‘s growing dedication to PC.

So do you think Microsoft will bring more titles to PC or even put Game Pass on Steam? Let us know in the comments down below!
