News at a PetSafe event to celebrate National Dog Day, the actress spoke candidly about the big move. Simpson told chief correspondent Keltie Knight that her life was more joyful since they relocated. “Being in Nashville, even my kids are like, ‘You laugh the whole time. You’re so happy,'” the mom of three shared. Further speaking on her new-found happiness, Simpson relayed that her joy came from being more relaxed and not on guard.
Jessica Simpson said life in Nashville wasn’t about the celebrities but about the music, heart, and conversations. Surprisingly, Simpson said she loved being a renter, adding that it had been a hilarious experience so far. The 43-year-old revealed she now did normal things like hanging up $40 curtains to avoid waking up with the sun. “I put together a TV with a butter knife. I was looking for a screwdriver, but I went to the wrong place. I went to Walgreens, I got lip gloss instead,” she added.
