Following her attendance at the star-studded night, The Daily Mail shared red-carpet photos of Katy in her revealing gown, one checking boxes on the figure-hugging front but seemingly leaving fans underwhelmed. Users, by the masses, trashed the “Woman’s World” star for her look, with a popular comment deeming it both “cheap” and “tacky.”

Looking curvier than she is today as 2024 brings those weight loss headlines, the “Roar” hitmaker flashed her curves and tiny waist as she went sleeveless, with the busty neckline seemingly proving controversial. Wearing her dark locks in a bouffant down-do, Katy matched her glowy pink cheek makeup to her dress, showcasing a gorgeous dewy look as she reminded the cameras of her features.
The dress was so long that fans didn’t even get to see Katy’s shoes. While on the red carpet, Katy had joked about her dress, telling E!: “I got my wig out and my globes.”

Fans didn’t hold back. “Trying WAY too hard,” one replied. “Completely trashy looking! Get over yourself Katy,” another said.
“She looks really awkward. Where did she find that dress? That was a total failure” was yet another remark sending Katy the thumbs-down.
Meanwhile, 2024 sees Katy’s attempts at a music comeback flailing. Her July 11-released “Woman’s World” track has made it into the top 40, but it’s nowhere near what the star likely expected. Backlash to the empowerment track has proven immense largely on account of Perry’s decision to work with controversial producer Dr.Luke, although she’s also been slammed for parading around in a bathing suit and with a glitter electric drill in the music video.
Elsewhere, Katy continues to turn heads with her staggering weight loss, with many assuming that she’s been taking weight loss drug Ozempic.
Earlier this year, Katy was dubbed a Kardashian clone as she wore only an open fur coat, ripped leggings, and heels at the Balenciaga Show. Fans further twisted the knife as they shaded Katy for even partnering up with the controversial designer in the first place.
