Katy Perry is catching shade over her latest Instagram photos as she highlights her weight loss in a leather co-ord. The singer, 39, updated her account with stage prep photos while performing in Brazil this week, also using her post to alert her 205 million followers to her upcoming 143 album.
Sharing late-night shots in the dark, Katy flaunted her slimmed-down figure in a minuscule white pair of shorts and unzipped jacket, showing off her tiny waist and toned legs while upping the ante in black boots. While the post netted the “Lifetimes” singer over 500,000 likes, it landed her backlash on The Daily Mail. Here, users deemed the pop star “desperate,” with a popular comment telling Katy to “act her age.”

In a caption, she wrote: “✌🏻 DAYS UNTIL 143.” Katy’s comeback album is due for release today September 20.

Fans, who were already lashing out, found further reason to do so on the body-shaming front, with many tormenting the star over her incredible weight loss as they allege Ozempic use.
