Kelsea Ballerini is fresh out of touring, but the country crooner already misses her days on the road amid her new partnership deal with Sonic. The songstress recently revealed to fans that she was taking a break from touring following the third leg of her Heartfirst tour. According to her, she was taking time off to reset her heart and body, pending when she hits the road again. While she’s on hold though, she plans to make the most of every moment, focusing on other aspects of her career.
A Day in Kelsea’s Life
Via Instagram, the 29-year-old announced that she landed herself a partnership deal with the drink company, Sonic, which deals with customized or “remixed” drinks. She announced with a sassy video detailing a day in her life on tour, with Portland as a reference. The video began with the country crooner waking up in bed with her ruffled hair styled in a ponytail as she picked up a mug of coffee and sipped from it.
Her voice sounded in the background, giving a detailed narration of the ensuing events. First, she revealed she began her day by taking a cup of coffee, explaining that it made her human. Next, she hits up one of the local hotspots, depending on the city. For her tour in Portland, Kelsea Ballerini visited the Pal Bookstore and got some interesting books and poetry. She let fans into on the books by tossing them on her bed one after the other.
After hitting the local bookstore, the crooner hit the gym in a blue athleisure wear that bared her midriff and toned legs. The video showed Kelsea flaunting her toned physique while working out at the gym. She went on to explain that she often took a walk afterward. As she did, the video cut to the star walking along the street while sipping a drink mixture from Sonic and waving at some excited fans.
Next, she did a soundcheck in an empty concert hall, explaining that she usually did the soundcheck in different venues, “sometimes outdoors, and sometimes indoors.” According to her, doing so with her team ahead of her concerts enabled her to have “a lay of the land” while on tour.

The “day in her life” video also showed Kelsea, now fully made-up, styling her hair with a curling iron while dancing cheekily. Her voice in the background explained that she was working on remixes on that particular day during the Portland tour. As if chipping in an after-thought, Kelsea Ballerini then unveiled the news of her new partnership with Sonic, saying,
“Speaking of remixes, I have partnered with Sonic to give you a kind of a new take on my favorite drink, Oceanwater with blue raspberry and lime. Your Summer Remix.”
The video left fans thirsting for more, with most urging Kelsea to do more “Day in the Life” videos. Others congratulated her on the new deal with Sonic Drive-in, noting that they would surely patronize the brand thanks to her adorable “day on tour” exposé. What better way to drive the market?
