Kim Kardashian is under fire from fans after she admitted that she was unhappy about having to spend time with her kids on her birthday. The reality TV star is the mother of four children (North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm) whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West. During a recent episode of The Kardashians, the SKIMS creator didn’t hold back when it came to her disappointment about how her birthday was spent.
Although it seemed like a fun-filled day with her family, that wasn’t true at all. Kim Kardashian revealed that spending her birthday with the kids and doing family-oriented activities was like “torture” for her. Instead, she wishes she could have locked herself in her room and eaten ice cream while relaxing, per OK! Magazine.
Kim Kardashian Wasn’t Happy to Spend Time With Her Kids on Her Birthday
“I thought my birthday, I’d have the day to myself. I was stuck doing everything that everyone else wanted to do,” Kardashian told her mother, Kris Jenner, during the episode. “I was stuck watching YouTube unboxing videos on my birthday, I had a FIFA tournament, Color Me Mine — you should see the ugly thing I made.”
Kim Kardashian went on to explain that the kids treated her birthday like Mother’s Day instead, which wasn’t fun for her in the slightest. Instead, she revealed that she wished they had just made her breakfast and then left her alone.
“Like, this is not what I wanted to be doing on my birthday,” she continued. “I need to sit my kids down and be like: ‘This isn’t Mother’s Day, like, this is my day. Do you think a mom wants to go to Color Me Mine one more time? On her birthday? Whose birthday is it?’ It was torture. No one cares about my dreams. Not my kids, at least,” she added.
This isn’t the first time that Kardashian has spoken out about being unhappy with her children. ET reports that she previously admitted to locking herself in the bathroom to hide from her brood. Of course, fans had a lot to say about the single mother’s confession. Some called the TV personality out for having more help than most when it comes to the kids. Meanwhile, others reminded that Kardashian chose to bring the four children into her life.
It seems that Kim Kardashian’s parenting confession didn’t sit well with many fans. However, there are some who can relate to the star’s words, despite how brash they may sound.
