Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is one of the hottest games right now and part of why it leaves such a good initial impression is due to one of the characters named Hans Capon. He’s your arrogant old-money noble friend and his actor, Luke Dale has given a stellar performance. That’s why the Hans actor couldn’t help himself after seeing himself in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and immediately jumped on the chance to romance himself.
Luke Dale turned out to be a fan of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 as well. Dale even has an active Twitch channel aptly named “LordHansCapon” and regularly streams Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 gameplay sessions.
Dale’s viewers, of course, couldn’t pass up the opportunity to ask who he’ll pick for romance in the RPG, and the actor replied that he’s obviously going to be romancing himself since he’s a “handsome bastard” but in a more vivid answer:
Hence, Hans Capon’s actor will be playing Henry to romance himself in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, which is possible as Hans Capon is bisexual in-game. So far Dale has gotten past the tutorial and has streamed several hours of gameplay including ones from the first Kingdom Come Deliverance game.
Thankfully, Luke Dale won’t have to work hard to get in his character’s pants because romancing Hans Capon in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is one of the easiest feats in the game.
Hans Capon was also in the first game and was voiced by Luke Dale. Hans himself is also based on a real-life person named Jan Ptรกฤek (Czech name) though the game took some liberties with his age. Regardless, Hans Capon is an important character in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and practically serves as the protagonist’s primary quest motivation.
Fans Want a Petition for Video Game Actors to Romance Themselves
Fans loved Luke Dale’s involvement in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, of course– even post-launch. SadlyHenry’s voice actor, Tom McKay, isn’t much of a gamer and couldn’t join Luke Dale on the streams.
Like Luke Dale, some of the fans on the embedded Reddit wanted another grand RPG voice actor to pull off the same “narcissistic” move, which is romancing the characters they voiced. One of the more popular choices was Neil Newbon who voiced the flamboyant vampire, Astarion in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Sadly, Neil Newbon didn’t exactly romance Astarion in Baldur’s Gate 3 in his gameplay streams, though that isn’t to say he isn’t open to such prospects.
