More than three decades ago, singer Kurt Cobain, the troubled genius behind Nirvana, was found dead in his Seattle home. The news was met with widespread shock and grief by fans. Authorities declared it a suicide. Whispers of foul play never disappeared. Now, shocking new evidence threatens to rewrite everything Nirvana fans may have been forced to believe.
According to a world-exclusive investigation, a secret review of Cobain’s case was quietly launched by Seattle cold case detectives. A King County assistant prosecutor, after a private investigator presented evidence suggesting the Nirvana frontman may have been murdered.

Here is what we know according to the new National Enquirer reports. A Washington-based PI by the name of Jason Jensen claims to have uncovered documentation that may point to possible forgery in the suicide note found at the scene. Interestingly enough, two handwriting experts have also backed up Jensen’s new theory.
The note, believed initially to be Kurt Cobain’s final words, appears to be written in two distinct styles. Top handwriting experts say, following a lengthy investigation, they have found the top portion of the letter matches Cobain’s handwriting exactly.
Evidence That Doesn’t Add Up With Kurt Cobain’s Suicide Letter
However, the last four lines of the heartbreaking letter. The lines that seemingly encourage Courtney Love to “keep going” for their daughter Frances Bean appear to be written by a different hand. One forensic specialist believes a “practice sheet” found among Love’s belongings after a 1994 drug arrest shows attempts to mimic Kurt Cobain’s writing.
Throughout the years, Courtney Love has faced numerous conspiracy accusations despite the police ruling Kurt Cobain’s death a suicide. Still, the alleged forgery implications raise questions, and a lot of them.
“My hope is the findings will finally shed light on what really happened to this generational talent,” Jensen tells the Enquirer. “Kurt deserves to rest peacefully, and that will never happen until his murderer is brought to justice.”
It is well known that before Cobain’s death, he had reportedly planned to divorce Courtney Love and remove her from his will. The official version of Kurt Cobain’s death report states the Teen Spirit singer died from a self-inflicted shotgun wound.
A 2014 police report revealed Cobain had three times the lethal dose of heroin in his system. This is an amount that medical professionals reveal would have made it nearly impossible for him to operate a shotgun. Also, the grim report adds that his body was found face-up, holding the weapon in his left hand. But the shotgun shell landed on the opposite side.
The cause of death reports, along with the recent handwriting analysis, raise new doubts. It also allegedly could leave the mystery surrounding Kurt Cobain’s final moments unsolved. This leaves many to ask, did Kurt Cobain take his own life? Or was the Nirvana icon silenced by someone close to him?
