This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

While exploring a planet or facility in Lethal Company, you will encounter many monsters, most of whom will immediately want to kill you. In such cases, you should provide yourself with reliable protection, and as you know, the best defense is a good offense, so the game offers several weapons to choose from. Let’s take a look at all the weapons you can use in Lethal Company. Although there are not many weapons in the game, if used properly, they can serve you well.

Given that the game released quite recently, there are currently only a few items that can serve as weapons. Most of them cost credits, but there is one that you can find and use for free. So, let’s take a closer look at all the weapons that are currently available in Lethal Company.

WeaponHow to get
Stop-SignYou can get it for free by finding it at the facility.
ShovelPurchase through the terminal for 30 credits.
Stun GrenadePurchase through the terminal for 40 credits.
Zap GunPurchase through the terminal for 400 credits.

As you can see, although there are not many weapons, there is a little bit of variety in the selection, given that almost every weapon works differently, except the Shovel and Stop-Sign. Each team, after fulfilling the first quota, can purchase several shovels or stun grenades that will help them survive on the planets and kill monsters.

It’s worth noting that not all monsters can be killed with weapons, and not every weapon will be as effective against one type of enemy as another. Therefore, you should understand which one will serve you better when you’re in danger.

Although the variety is not great, it’s still worth knowing what to choose. In most situations, you should pay attention to various factors, starting with the number of credits and ending with the danger you face. Basically, you should opt for 2 options: the Stop-Sign and the Zap Gun. Let’s talk about each of them in more detail to highlight all their pros and cons.

Stop-Sign

The Stop-Sign is a great alternative to the Shovel, but you’ll have to rely on RNG to get it. Even though this weapon is free, it is in no way inferior to the shovel and will perfectly cope with enemies in close combat. With the Stop-Sign, you can effectively deal with insect-type enemies by simply hitting them 3 to 6 times.

Zap Gun

The Zap Gun is an expensive and luxurious weapon, so not all players can afford it. When used, the Zap Gun emits a beam that immobilizes enemies until you release the trigger or run out of power. The main disadvantage, apart from the 400-credit price, is that to effectively fight monsters, you need another player to hit the enemy while you immobilize it with the Zap Gun. That said, you can also use this weapon to run away from enemies by occasionally turning around and immobilizing them while you book it.
