Live a Live is one of the classic JRPGs that was initially released in 1994, and the remake version of it was released for Nintendo Switch. It is one of the most beloved turn-based tactical games that fans wanted to be remade. This guide will tell you how to beat Captain Square and the Rewards in Live a Live.

How to Beat Captain Square, and Rewards in Live a Live

If you play as Cube, you will find this arcade cabinet that you can play and complete its challenge to impress Kirk. This arcade is a minigame in which you have to beat Captain Square in Live a Live. since he is pretty fond of the game. Before we dive into the guide, you must know there is no reward for beating this minigame. Sorry. But it can be good practice and a change of activity to play this game.

The battles of Beat Captain are like every other battle in the game, each taking place in a different which makes it a total of 9 stages. For each stage, you can use a different solution, and here are some of them you can use.

In the Mercury stage, you can easily destroy Clickarocks with Plasma Ball shots. It is best to fire them diagonally, so keep your distance. In the Venus stage, you can destroy Headberts using Speacephage attack from a distance and get a One Hit KO.

The Earth can be a little tricky. At first, don’t kill the Waterspouts, and make sure to use one as bait to set off an Aquaflare. With the remaining Waterspouts using Supernova would be the best option. Then the Mars stage will begin. The first to do here is to fire a Spacephage at the Teil Pup nearest to the Teil Broodmother to set off negative statuses as many as possible. Then spam Spacephage on the Broodmother, and once it dies, the other enemies will also be killed.

In Jupiter, you will face Cosmotrollers which can hurt you only if you are within their horizontal charging distance. So avoid the 2 horizontal rows at any cost. You can use Spinning Star to chase them away and then Pion Bomb to attack.

The Saturn stage is relatively easy. Just keep your distance from Gemparapets and use Spacephage and Plasma Charge to heal from their counters. Then comes the worst of them all, Uranus. You either have to focus on poison damage from afar with Spacephage at the El Mirage or use Spinning Star to force your way through the Pymlis to a safe spot to pick the ones off on the south end boss, which you can destroy with your Quark Sword.

Neptune, on the other, is simple. Just dash straight up to Lala and hit them with a Quark Sword. And the Pluto level is just like the Venus level but more challenging. The best weapon you can use is the Pion Bomb in this stage.

It is best to progress through the story and get access to Kirk’s quarters and use his computer. There is not guarded by the password “warp speed” that will tell you there is a memory card at the foot of his bed. Using this memory card means you can beat some level of Captain Square, save your progress, and come back later to continue. Without a memory card, you would have to start all over again.

Live a Live is available for Nintendo Switch.
