One of such was Aaliyah Cosby sharing that her relationship with Okoroha ended because he noted that she wasn’t the type of woman he would find attractive. Similarly, Chatterjee’s relationship with Deepti Vempati crashed after he admitted to not being physically attracted to her. Now, Love Is Blind fans have called out both men for going on the show despite having physical requirements.

Love Is Blind is all about matching two individuals solely based on their personalities and conversations. But for Okoroha and Chatterjee, a woman’s physique seemingly matters most. This doesn’t sit right with Love Is Blind fans who slammed the duo for going on the show despite having “types.” On Tuesday, a fan took to Reddit to share their concerns.
“Anyone else find it odd that people like Shake and Uche applied for Love Is Blind, KNOWING they have a looks requirement in a partner?” the angry fan began.
The Redditor then explained the difference between preference and requirement. They noted that an individual with preferences could compromise, but someone with requirements couldn’t. According to the fan, Love Is Blind‘s Uche and Shake fell under the latter, and it was pointless going for the show, as love wasn’t blind for them. The fan suggested that the show vets its contestants to know those who are open-minded about their dating preferences. Ultimately, for the Redditor, seeing unambiguous Black women, plus-sized women, short men, and Asian men getting the short end of the stick all the time was irritating.
