In today’s episode of America, because yes, the country feels like a reality show full of gossip, weird things, and drama everywhere, we have the Donald Trump & MAGA vs Elon Musk bout, and boy, it is an interesting one to watch. As you know, Trump and Musk aren’t on the best of terms. The latter is no longer part of Trump’s team, which has led to something that feels a bit ironic. Previously, MAGA supporters were defending Elon Musk at every chance they had. However, now that Musk is no longer buddies with Trump, MAGA members have taken the online pitchforks and torches to attack the one they previously defended. Talk about irony.
Since yesterday, Elon Musk has posted his thoughts on X (formerly known as Twitter) regarding his former ally, Donald Trump. Messages from Musk saying, “Without me, Trump would have lost the election“ and “Such ingratitude” have flooded social media. However, this soap opera-like situation has led to many reactions that range from hilarious to worrying.
With the above statement, now many are questioning if Elon Musk just admitted that he rigged the election where Donald Trump became president. If true, this would be one of the most unconstitutional things ever seen in the country, and would put the previous election on shaky grounds. While Elon Musk was trying to attack Trump, this statement backfired in seconds.
On top of that, it seems MAGA people have fallen into a short circuit of sorts. As you know, MAGA members were strongly supporting the alliance between Elon Musk and Donald Trump. Some even went to purchase Tesla cars to show their love for Trump’s most loyal supporter at the time. However, things are not looking so friendly between the two right now, which has left many MAGA people unsure of what to do.
On the other side of the bout, things aren’t looking that great for Musk. He continued to make posts regarding the Epstein files and Trump’s involvement in them. However, people were not happy about this, as X user jaubreyTY says:
“You willingly gave a known Epstein associate $270 to win the election?“
In a matter of hours, America has gone into overdrive with all these accusations, confessions, and new information. In truth, no one knows what to do with all of that. Yet, those watching it unfold are having a blast with all the memes and reactions.
Will Donald Trump and Elon Musk make peace? That’s uncertain, but as Ryan Shead clearly says on X, “You don’t have to pick. They are both pieces of sh*t.” Still, it is ironic to see how MAGA can throw someone under the bus in a matter of seconds. Not that Musk deserves any pity, but seeing how quickly the tables turn is fun.
