Donald Trump supporters are facing their fair share of discrimination. Over the weekend in Los Angeles, a MAGA streamer was attacked by a random passerby. The scuffle occurred after he declared his support for Trump, and no amount of pepper spray could defend him against the onslaught!
The one-minute-long footage shared on Reddit captured the brawl between a streamer and a passerby. A white man in a black shirt and a face cap was seen recording himself while walking on a sidewalk when a muscular woman wearing a black dress and a nose mask passed him by. She asked, “You love Trump?” to which the man responded, “Yeah, why?” causing the woman to advance at him.
Almost immediately, the streamer pulled out a pepper spray and pointed it at the woman, yelling, “Stay away from me.” However, she did not back down at the sight of the pepper spray and even swung her bag at the man recording. The Trump supporter kept spraying at the woman while running for his safety. She aggressively chased after him, hitting the streamer with her bag while he clamored for her to stop.
At some point, the Caucasian man fell to the ground, but she didn’t hold back on the attack. “Stop attacking me. Fucking weirdo! Why are they doing that?” he yelled, getting people’s attention. The clip ended with passersby intervening in the situation.
In no time, the video garnered mixed reactions from internet users. Some criticized the woman’s actions, and others blamed the streamer for being provocative.
“This is the intolerance that the far left is known for,” one critic slammed the Democratic party.
Another netizen seemingly poked fun at the woman, writing, “Look at that big pepper spray- resistant powerful muscular woman.”
A third netizen trashed supporters of the Democratic Party as those who love violence and are mentally unstable. As more reactions towards the clip came in, one internet user brought up Race, writing:
“Reverse the races and this is on the nightly news with every liberal talking about it nonstop for the next 10 years yelling ‘when is it gonna stop?’ But its a white guy who got attacked, no one gives a s**t.”
On the other hand, some believed the woman was in her right. One commenter pointed out that the streamer makes several videos where he harasses other people and uses his pepper spray. The commenter added that the streamer deserves “zero sympathies,” as he instigated the confrontation so he could use the pepper spray.
A second netizen shared a similar opinion. “Wearing an I ❤️ Trump shirt, walking down the street and recording, looking for negative attention. Gets it, then suddenly: ‘Why are they doing that?” the user slammed. “These kinds of people are the worst.”
A third user made fun of the streamer, writing, “Used pepper spray and still got his a** beat. Looool.”
Although the video fails to tell the whole story, MAGA fans online are not loving the new wave of uprising against them.
