Even if no one is injured, experiencing a car crash can be frightening, but getting into an accident with someone who doesn’t speak English or have insurance can be infuriating. That said, a resident in Maine got into a wreck with a company truck with someone who could hardly speak English. The large vehicle was changing lanes, and the driver didn’t bother to check if the way was clear, resulting in the crash. “No license, no insurance!” was what the driver said on repeat as the victim attempted to figure out the situation.
The two hardly spoke English, not to mention the area had no cell service to call for help or even for the Maine driver to let their partner know what happened. Fortunately, the individual recorded the non-English speakers admitting that the car accident was their fault, as well as texts and photos of the incident. The damage done wasn’t too severe, so both parties exchanged numbers and went on their way to deal with everything later. It wasn’t until the victim driver got ahold of the two foreigners’ boss that they had to deal with another aggravating problem.
“I don’t give a f**k about your little fender bender, f**k insurance and f**k you,” the boss angrily said in a text message. And this wasn’t all. Information about the shady company that hired the non-English-speaking truck drivers was so questionable that even the Maine police couldn’t get back with the victim within a week’s time. If they refuse to give it, “How would I get insurance information?” the victim asks Reddit.

“This is why you have insurance. You give everything to them, get your stuff fixed under your insurance, and your insurance goes after them,” says a Reddit user. Another suggests filing a complaint with FMCSA because the driver was operating a company truck without a license or insurance. Hopefully, someone, such as the boss, gets heavily fined or even jail time for this ordeal. People driving without following proper legalities are a danger to everyone on the road.
At least this wasn’t as bad as the non-English-speaking driver in Texas who ended up killing multiple people as a result of his and his company’s misdemeanor.
