Megan Thee Stallion is hitting the road. While appearing on Good Morning America on Tuesday, Jan. 30, the rapper announced she’ll be embarking on The Hot Girl Summer tour. The trek will be in support of her upcoming third studio album, which will feature her hit single “Hiss.” The song’s shady lyrics have led to Stallion feuding with Nicki Minaj. Although the pair’s beef has garnered widespread attention over the past few days, the “WAP” star notably ignored the topic in her latest interview.
Megan Thee Stallion Appears on “Good Morning America”
During her Good Morning America appearance, Stallion confirmed she’ll be going on her first-ever solo tour this year. It’ll kick off this summer, which will also be around the same time her new album drops. The rapper said she’s excited to give her fans — who are known as hotties — the “Megan Thee Stallion experience” after waiting to see her in concert for so long.
I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside doing my own thing during the summer, since like 2019. So this is going to be the first time that I drop an album on time for the summer.

In 2022, Stallion briefly joined Dua Lipa on her Future Nostalgia tour. Before that, she toured with Meek Mill and Future on their Legendary Nights tour in 2019. Considering Stallion is one of the biggest rappers today, it’s hard to believe she’s yet to embark on a headlining tour. However, that’s all about to change soon when Stallion hits the road this summer. Although she hasn’t confirmed which cities she’ll visit, the star will likely release more information regarding her tour as she gets closer to dropping her third album.
“Hiss” vs. “Big Foot”
Stallion’s tour announcement comes days after she dropped her viral single “Hiss” on Jan. 26. Throughout the track, the rapper appears to shade several artists, including Drake and Tory Lanez. Some fans and critics also think she dissed Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, in her song.
At one point during the track, Stallion raps that people “don’t be mad at Megan” but instead are “mad at Megan’s Law.” The line refers to a federal law that requires information about registered sex offenders to be made public. Since Minaj’s husband is a registered sex offender, the rapper took offense to Stallion’s song. In response, she dropped “Big Foot” as a diss track toward Stallion.
The Mean Girls star has yet to address her feud with Minaj.
