During their time in California, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have seemingly looked to rub elbows with some of Hollywood’s hottest stars, including Oprah Winfrey, David Beckham, and Tyler Perry. However, there is reportedly one celebrity friend that Markle does not want in close proximity to her husband, and that is Jennifer Lopez. Now that JLo is single again after filing for divorce from Ben Affleck, Meghan has put a stop to Harry seeking out her friendship.
Heat World reports that Meghan Markle wants Prince Harry to stay far away from Jennifer Lopez. JLo has plenty of Hollywood connections that could potentially help Harry and Meghan’s careers. However, the Duchess isn’t interested in a friendship as she’s allegedly worried about Harry getting too close to the singer. Meghan isn’t reportedly worried about Harry straying. All the while, she doesn’t want to be dragged into the rumors that constantly surround Lopez.
“The irony is that Jen could be a huge help for Meghan. She’s got the contacts and the star power to really boost her brand. Teaming up with her could bring Meghan the legitimacy in Hollywood that she’s craving,” an insider told the outlet.

Harry and Meghan have seemingly fallen out of David and Victoria Beckham’s inner circle. So, JLo is someone who could offer them what they’re looking for. However, it likely won’t happen.
“Harry is oblivious and keeps bringing up Jen as someone they should really reconnect with and make one of their A-list Hollywood allies,” the source continues. “He doesn’t understand why that relationship has fallen by the wayside, as she’s such a powerful force and could really help open up a lot of doors. Things seemed to go well when they all had dinner four years ago, and Jen even reached out afterwards, but Meghan doesn’t seem the least bit interested.”
Meanwhile, the possibilities have fans buzzing.
“Meghan is reportedly worried that JLo will steal Harry from her. She has no grip on reality. Although I wouldn’t put it past JLo to go as far as to get flirty with Harry,” one person wrote via Reddit.
