Metaphor: ReFantazio is a fantasy world where you can meet nine unique tribes or races. While they are currently living as citizens of one kingdom, at one point, there were different countries on this continent. Their physical differences cause countless problems and crises. Some tribes have a higher standing than others. The most common race you can find in the capital city is Clemar, but there are several smaller tribes that also live on this land.

Clemar

Clemar is the number one race that manages to dominate the nation due to the royal family in Metaphor: ReFantazio. You can find many of them in the capital city, and most nobles are from this tribe. Due to their status, many look down on other tribes and believe themselves to be superior. Their most striking feature is the pair of horns on their head.

Roussainte

If you are wondering what tribe Hulkenberg belongs to in Metaphor: ReFantazio, the answer is Roussainte. They are the second most populous clan on the continent and have a rather good standing in front of the public. You can find many of them working as guards or knights. They are resistant to cold, but they also have a long pair of ears.

  • Eiselin Burchelli Meijal Hulkenberg
  • Idaeus Glodell
  • Elphas Bardon
  • Rudolf Krause
  • Ovis Gideaux

Rhoag

Grius race is Rhoag in Metaphor: ReFantazio

The Rhoag tribe may not look that different from regular humans, but they tend to live long. Members of this group also have pointed ears and dark or alabaster pale skin. You can find many of them in the Principality of Montario region. While they are not as high standing as Clemar, the public still looks at them favorably.

  • Arvid Alces or Grius
  • Brigitta Lycaon
  • Aestivum Forden
  • Goddard Gunnel
  • Joanna Calendula

Ishkia

Rella is from the Ishkia race.

People who belong to the Ishikia race are quite easy to spot due to their four white wings. While their number does not compare to Clemar or Rhoag, they still hold quite high status due to their intelligence. Although they have wings, it is quite rare to see them use them to take flight. Even Neuras prefer to use his Gauntlet Runner to explore the sky.

  • Neueirus Corax or Neuras
  • Julian Castillion
  • Milo Adriano Narcissus Maurizio
  • Rella Melancoryphus Cygnus

Nidia

Junah.

The Nidia tribe is another striking clan in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Their biggest characteristic is their big round eyes that will draw the attention of everyone. However, they also have a big secret. All Nidia actually stop growing at a young age and many appear like children. That’s why they create a fake appearance that makes them look like an adult. Unfortunately, they have a bad reputation for being a liar.

  • Juani Cygnus or Junah
  • Alonzo Crotalus or Cuculus
  • Jin Dulls

Paripus

The Paripus tribe.

The Paripus tribe is a dog-like race that has ears and tails. Unfortunately, they are heavily discriminated against in many regions due to their similarities to animals. You can find many Paripus being abused in the capital city. However, this clan actually has a great physical prowess that makes them a good fighter. They also tend to be carefree, which may make others feel they’re rather inconsiderate.

  • Fidelio Magnus
  • Loveless O’Shea
  • Catherina Grann
  • Fabienne Vulpes

Eugief

Heismay.

Heismay is the first person from the Eugief race that you will encounter in Metaphor: ReFantazio. They have keen senses and are able to see in the dark. This tribe has a small number, and they prefer to keep their distance due to discrimination. Since they resemble more like a bat than a humanoid, their position was one of the lowest in the social hierarchy.

  • Heismay Noctule
  • Lina Kayden
  • Russell

Mustari

Eupha.

Despite having a humanoid body, the Mustari is another tribe that is discriminated against in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Due to their belief, they usually wear a mask that hides their faces, making other clans feel they’re untrustworthy. Since they also follow their indigenous beliefs, the Sanctist Church does not look kindly toward this race.

  • Euphausia Etoreika or Eupha
  • Edeni

Elda

Protagonist.

If you think other tribes have it bad, then you need to look at the Elda race. They resemble the original human the most, but everyone looks at them badly. Only a small number of them remain, and you can only find them living in a small village on the northwestern side of the continent. Due to the Sanctism religion, most citizens believe the Elda clan is a tainted race that inherits dangerous magic.
