“That’s the thing that we as women struggle with — disappointing people. I mean, so much so that this year, people couldn’t even fathom that I was making a choice for myself. Michelle doubled down on the stability of her marriage, noting she and Barack still enjoyed a spark in their relationship. She implied the only troubles in their romance were common couple problems like deciding what TV shows to watch together.
The former White House resident revealed the pair frequently clashed over their TV preferences. Barack enjoyed “death and darkness.” On the other hand, Michelle loved “light,” citing shows like Nobody Wants This and Ted Lasso as her favorites. Her comments follow recent reports of the duo’s alleged efforts to save their marriage.
